Dying Light 2 Stay Human Guide – How to Quickly Farm Old World Money
cre: Dying Light 2 Stay Human Guide – How to Quickly Farm Old World Money
As you scavenge for resources, craft materials, and even weapons by simply exploring the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Old World Money is the most important currency. Apart from being used to buy better gear, weapons, and mods, it is also used to upgrade current gear like throwing knives, medkits, and more. While selling unused gear and any discovered valuables is essential, there are other ways to easily earn tons of Old World cash.
The first, as described by DPJ in the video below, is to unlock the Larch Windmill. From there, look southwest for the abandoned store. Go here during the day, head inside, assault the infected, then shoot them all to the entrance. Due to their inability to get through the door, they will be ripe for the picking and you can easily kill them with any weapon. Once they’re dead, collect all the different old world trophies, materials, and money.
You will also find crystals here that can be sold for 200 old world dollars apiece. Return to the Windmill and sell whatever you can, then quit the game. Go back and return to the abandoned store and repeat the process since all the infected will have respawned. The crystals will not be immediately available again, so you will have to wait a bit. Overall though, it’s not a bad way to make money and it’s low enough for players still at the start of the farm.
For those who want something a little more dangerous, there is the night. Most infected will come out at night, leaving various lairs to loot to craft coins and other resources. You will want to locate a Dark Hollow as these have more valuable items that can be sold for a lot of Old World money. A good location is the Alder Windmill which has a Dark Hollow near it. Go in, loot whatever you can, then come back to sell the valuables with any gear you don’t need.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out the latest patch, which adds variable refresh rate support on Xbox Series X, here.
