The creators of the hugely popular WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE podcast present an imaginative mystery of appearances and disappearances that is a poignant look at how we all struggle to find ourselves – no matter where we live. WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE: A NOVEL will be released on October 20 in hardback, audio and ebook formats, but you can pre-order your copy now.

We are delighted to launch the UK and Australian cover today, beautifully illustrated by Robert Wilson, designer of the original Night Vale logo. We asked Rob to tell us a bit about the project:

“I have been involved with WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE since its inception, when Jeffrey Cranor asked me to design the original podcast icon. The writers and I worked together to create a simple and mysterious image that would convey the atmosphere of the show , without revealing any of its secrets. Years later, I’m amazed how the graphic has taken on a life of its own, with the hundreds, if not thousands, of creative fan art interpretations it has inspired. , I’m thrilled to have been asked to design the cover for the new WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE novel and develop the original graphic art, just as the book expands the world of the podcast. Like the original icon, the new cover for the book has its own secrets.

Your whole party still benefits from the XP earned from battles and such, but with very few trainers – who can’t be rematched, of course – and no Gyms, how do you level up quickly? One method is to buy Exp. Bonn Sweets at Jubilife Village. While it can be quite expensive, it’s possible if you farm valuable items from space-time warps (more on that here) and sell them for Pokedollars. It’s only good for upgrading Pokemon one at a time, so be warned. You can also venture into Massive Outbreaks, which are phenomena where multiple Pokémon of the same species will appear together.
