The fifth day of Genshin ImpactThe Legend of the Vagabond Sword event leads to another fight against the Oceanid. To be fair, you’ll notice a lot of similarities, but there are still a few caveats. here is our Genshin Impact guide to help you with day 5 of the Legend of the Vagabond Sword event and the Oceanid Urania boss fight.

Genshin Impact: Legend of the Wandering Sword (Day 5) – Oceanid Urania

Similar to the previous encounter against Oceanid Urania (Day 2), the characters with a +20% damage bonus are Eula, Klee, Rosaria, and Hu Tao. When it comes to modifiers and flairs, there are a few key differences:

  • +150% elemental skill cooldown; elemental blasts temporarily increase the ATK of all party members.
  • Characters below 70% HP gain an ATK boost, but those above 70% HP have their ATK reduced.
  • +50% Pyro and/or physical resistance for the boss.
  • Characters lose 5% of their max HP when inflicting critical hits. This proc can kill characters.
  • Oceanid creatures have improved HP regeneration, and frozen targets also regenerate HP.
  • Hydro Mimics will spawn explosive water bombs when killed.

For this battle, I chose Ganyu, Zhongli, Albedo and Qiqi. Likewise, I only went for 4,350 points. To be fair, this Oceanid Urania encounter is significantly easier than the previous one, although there are a few mechanics you need to pay attention to. First, those pesky Hydro Mimics will create bombs when they die. It is imperative that you are further away to avoid taking damage.

Oceanid Urania will usually summon four Hydro Mimic monsters for you to kill. Then she will do her ultimate which will require you to stand on the Fitful Rapids elevator. After this streak, she will cast her Torrents and a few Hydro Mimic Crabs will also appear.

Since I was using Ganyu as my main DPS, I avoided the extra Hydro Mimic Crabs that appeared. I just waited for the next ultimate cast so I could use the Fitful Rapids again. Because the Oceanid boss is stationary for several seconds, you can unleash multiple charged hits to knock her down.

Also, try to pay attention to your active character’s HP. Critical hits will slightly deplete their health, so try to eat food if needed. Finally, if you took my advice to get around 4,250 points from each Legend of the Vagabond Sword challenge, you should have accumulated enough to acquire the Celebration: Battlesong name card.
