While the Borderlands the series has its fair share of collectibles, The wonders of Tiny Tina ups that number significantly. Plus, it’s not just for achievements/trophies – you also gain permanent stat boosts, better chances for better loot, and more XP by locating all of these items.

First, let’s describe all the different types of collectibles and what they do:

  • Lore Scrolls – Remember audio logs from previous ones Borderlands titles? Lore Scrolls are essentially that, offering knowledge of the area or capturing the perspective of a random character. In total, there are 57 Scrolls of Knowledge to collect. Unlike all other collectibles, you don’t get a permanent boost to any stats when you find them all. But tradition remains tradition.
  • Shrine Coins – There are six shrines in Wonderland, each with different coins to collect. Collecting them will earn you a number of different permanent bonuses. Mool Ah Shrine provides a 10% increase in gold gain. Grindanna Shrine grants a 10% increase in experience gain. Shrine of Throatus Punchus increases your critical damage by 10%. Aaron G’s Shrine increases your loot chance by 10%. Mad Count’s Shrine provides a 10% increase in Lunar Orb gain, and Zoomios’ Shrine increases Overworld movement speed by 15%.
  • Lucky Dice – If you’re looking for better loot, then it’s worth looking for Lucky Dice. Each provides a permanent Loot Luck boost, promising better drops later. When broken, lucky dice also provide gold and random loot. There are 260 in total and while it can be difficult to locate them all, they are definitely worth seeking out before tackling the late-game Chaos Chamber or farming specific bosses.
  • Ancient Obelisks – Speaking of farming, there are Ancient Obelisks. These are structures around the world that function as challenge events. Activating them will spawn waves of enemies, culminating in a boss fight. Some of these bosses can drop legendary items with experience and gold, so they are worth farming. There are 11 Ancient Obelisks in total and clearing them all grants a permanent 10% boost to your constitution.
  • Lost Marbles – This is a not so subtle joke about a hero who lost his memory. Each Lost Marble contains a different memory – smash them and you’ll learn more about their past. There are 24 in total to collect, and you’ll get a permanent 10% increase in strength by finding them all.
  • Poetry Pages – Poetry Pages are, as the name suggests, poems. There are 25 in total to collect and in addition to granting XP, you will get a permanent 10% increase in Intelligence when you find them all.
  • Runic Switches – These are timed puzzles that consist of three switches in a specific location. Upon activation, they will scatter to different locations nearby and must be activated in the correct order. The switch with the green light is always the first to activate – once it does, the next switch in the sequence will then change from red to green. There are 12 Runic Switches in total and if you complete them all you gain a permanent 10% increase to your Dexterity.
